Q: Can the FRAME-EVO-P30 be used with an ultra-short throw lens?

Yes, one of the major selling points of the EVO frame is the cabrio function*. The upper ring of the frame can be easily and without tools be removed so that the usage of a ultra-short lens can happen without any inconvenience. *except the EVO-P31H frame especially made for stackings and heavy duty weight.

Q: What are typical use cases for the EVO frames?

The most typical use cases are large projections, portrait applications and on-floor projections.

Q: For which mountings are the cages suitable? Ceiling, wall, others?

The frames are usually attached to trusses, with EVO-LINK s . A wide range of accessories (portrait adapter, safety kit, etc.) is also available.

Q: Are the EVO frames certified?

The EVO frames and EVO-LINKs are verified by DGUV V17/ V18 (accident prevention regulation of the event and production facilities for scenic representation). Additionally, the frames are approved by the TÜV and have obtained the CE-Certification . More about certifications

The newest frame generation is the EVOlution of the earlier, very well-known frame series. The system has been redesigned from scratch. The result is a very similar look with some major advantages.

With nearly the same outer dimensions, it is fully stacking compatible with the previous generation.
The convertible design enables the easy removal of the upper part for an unrestricted use of ultra-short lenses. For this process, no additional tools are required, and no lose parts that might get lost are left behind. The galvanic insulation from the projector housing to the trussing is built-in. Due to this, there is no need for additional plastic washers to avoid electrical problems. This simplifies a lot mounting the projector into the frame. Furthermore, adjusting the projector in the frame is more precise with less unwanted play.

Of course, the EVO frame series is DGUV V17 / V18 verified as well as fully calculated in a static analysis.
