The radarTOUCH is available in two versions: Standard (radarTOUCH) and Light (radarTOUCH LT). The device can also be ordered with heating for outdoor use. Please contact us to receive a non-binding offer with your conditions.

Q: Where and how can I purchase the radarTOUCH?

As a manufacturer, we only work with resellers. So, if you are not an end customer, you are welcome to buy from us. In some countries we have distributors who can support you locally. If you are an end customer, we would be happy to recommend partners in your area who can provide you with the best possible support. Please contact us .

Q: How will my goods be shipped (DE, EU, Asia, GB, USA, Canada, other?

We work all over the world. We can either send your goods with known carriers or have them ready for collection. Of course, we provide the necessary export accompanying documents for non-EU countries.

Q: Is object recognition possible with the radarTOUCH?

No, object recognition is not possible with radarTOUCH .

Q: Ist the radarTOUCH suitable for Multi-TOUCH?

The radarTOUCH is a device for very large areas and can recognise over 250 touch points at the same time. However, the radarTOUCH is best suited for interactions with large gestures.

Q: What „resolution“ do I need for touch capabilities?

Since the radarTOUCH is used for very large areas and can also be installes further away from the image, it is not always easy to precisely touch very small points. A touch point should therefore not be smaller than 5x5cm.

Q: Which technology is used?

The radarTOUCH is a rotating scanner thas uses class 1 laser to create an invisible curtain in front of an image. The touch technology is infrared laser.

Q: How can we implement interactive solutions?

Because the radarTOUCH comes in 2 versions and is very versatile, we can suggest the ideal solution for your project. You then only need a content producer to program your interactive application according to your requirements.

Q: I’m looking for inspiration, which interactive solutions can be implemented?

The radarTOUCH is an extremely versatile device. Big screens, shopping windows, LED walls, fog screens, etc. Whrerever you have an image, you can make it interactive with the radarTOUCH, regardless oft he technology.

radarTOUCH has been designed for multitouch applications which exceed common display sizes and even different kinds of displays. The system is perfectly suitable to realise a contact-free interaction with any kind of screen or floor.

The centrepiece of the system is an infrared laser which emits an invisible laser curtain across a defined area. This two-dimensional invisible area covers up to 25 meters. Even larger areas are covered with several systems using the radarSTITCHER software extension. Another software extension, radarTRACK, can be used to determine the positions of up to four people.

We call the radarTOUCH light the “little brother” of the original radarTOUCH system for applications with only one active surface.

The radarTOUCH works over TUIO (tuio.org) which is a standard communication protocol between software and interactive hardware. Make sure that your application is created in a way that is compatible with TUIO. For many years now, software partners have created divers applications, some oft hem offering basic functions and are very simple to use. But they can of course also offer the whole range of content creation required by complex projects. Contact us for recommendation.
